The Eneka Pro 4000 Diode Laser
We use the Eneka Pro 4000, a medical‑grade laser designed for precision, comfort and long‑term reduction. It delivers stable energy throughout every pulse, advanced cooling for a calmer treatment experience, and fast treatment times that allow us to achieve smoother results in fewer sessions. The Eneka Pro 4000 is one of the most advanced diode systems available in the UK and one of the only machines of its kind being used locally. Many clinics rely on low‑cost imported devices that struggle with consistency, safety and long‑term results.
The Eneka Pro 4000 is a diode laser that fires a focused beam at 808 nanometres, a wavelength chosen because it reaches past the surface of the skin to the pigment sitting in the hair and largely ignores everything else.
That pigment absorbs the light and converts it to heat. The heat damages the follicle and reduces its ability to produce hair. Do that repeatedly, at the right point in the growth cycle, and the follicle’s supply gradually gives out. It is why the sessions are spaced six to eight weeks apart rather than crammed together. We are working with the cycle, not against it.
The handpiece has a chilled sapphire contact tip. It cools the skin at the moment the pulse fires, which is what turns the sensation from something you brace for into something most people describe as a rubber band flick with a bit of heat behind it. It also lets us deliver enough energy to actually work, rather than backing off to keep you comfortable.
