Upper lip and facial laser hair removal in Warrington

Upper lip £120 · Chin £135 · Full face £225 for a course of three

Facial hair is personal, and it is far more common than people admit. Dark hairs on the upper lip, a few stubborn ones on the chin, a shadow along the jaw. Plucking and threading deal with today. Laser hair removal deals with the follicle, here in Warrington town centre.

We use the Eneka Pro 4000, an 808nm diode laser with a chilled sapphire tip. It is gentle enough for the face and precise enough to work around the lips and jawline.

Full face covers the upper lip, chin, jawline, cheeks and sideburns. It does not include the eyebrows or anywhere near the eyes. Every price is on our pricing page.

What upper lip laser feels like

The upper lip is one of the sharper spots on the body, so expect a few quick stings. Most people describe it as an elastic band snap with warmth. The chilled tip takes the edge off, and each area is done in minutes.

Afterwards your skin may look a little pink, like a mild sunburn, for a few hours. Leave make-up off for 24 hours.

How many sessions for the upper lip and face?

Six to eight sessions for most people. Facial hair is often driven by hormones, and that matters. If yours is linked to PCOS, menopause or another hormonal change, laser still works well. It thins the hair and slows it right down. But your body may keep producing new hair, so plan on an occasional top-up rather than a single course.

We will tell you which applies to you at your patch test. If you have PCOS, our PCOS page explains what to expect. Why it takes six to eight sessions.

Upper lip laser before and after

  1. After your first session. Treated hairs shed over one to three weeks.
  2. Sessions two to four. Regrowth is finer, lighter and slower.
  3. After a course of six. Most people stop plucking and threading altogether. Hormonal hair may need a top-up now and then.

Is laser hair removal safe for the face?

Yes, when the laser is set for your skin. At your free patch test, Maddie checks your skin type, your medication and your hair, then tests a small area. We wait 48 hours to see how your skin responds before your first full session. We never treat inside the eyebrow line or near the eyes.

Questions people ask

How much is upper lip laser hair removal in Warrington?

£120 for three sessions or £210 for six. The chin is £135 or £240, and full face is £225 or £425. The patch test is free.

How many sessions will I need for my upper lip?

Six to eight for most people. If the hair is hormonal, you may need an occasional top-up afterwards.

Are there side effects of upper lip laser?

Mild redness and a few raised bumps for a few hours are normal. Rarer effects, such as temporary darkening or lightening of the skin, are why we patch test first and adjust the settings to your skin.

Will laser work on fine or fair facial hair?

Laser needs pigment in the hair. Dark hair responds best. Fine, blonde, grey or red hair does not respond well, and we will tell you so at your patch test rather than sell you a course.

Can laser make facial hair grow back thicker?

It is rare, but on fine, downy facial hair it can occasionally stimulate growth. That is one reason we assess your hair carefully first, and why we do not treat very fine hair.
